June is New York Music Month, the official celebration of New York City’s vibrant and dynamic music ecosystem. The month is an initiative of the New York City Mayor’s Office of Media & Entertainment. Join us for in-person and virtual events throughout June. Attend a concert in the park, sharpen your skills with virtual and in-person resources for musicians, access free sessions at New York City’s Best Rehearsal Space, Astoria Soundworks and join the conversation at the Annual New York Music Month Conference – all for free. Calling all New York City musicians! Gear up for June because the city is celebrating its vibrant music scene with “New York Music Month,” and Astoria Soundworks is thrilled to be a part of it! Throughout June, NYC residents can snag free rehearsal space to hone their craft and collaborate with fellow musicians.
That’s right, Astoria Soundworks, conveniently located in Astoria, Queens, is offering one free 2-hour rehearsal session per week for all four weeks of June to any musician living in the city. This is an incredible opportunity to take advantage of our professional-grade studios, fully equipped with drums, amps, mics, keyboards, and in most rooms, the ability to record your session. Whether you’re a seasoned band or just starting out, Astoria Soundworks provides the perfect space to rehearse, record, and perfect your sound.
